Introduction to Me

Well, hi there!

My name is Yogev Rabl, I'm a quality engineer of Openstack, working at Red Hat. My job covers mostly Cinder, Nova and Glance, but I will need to familiarize myself with Swift soon.
As a rule, I never stay in my scope, I like to see the system as a whole, as a forest rather than counting trees, even though it's one of my weak spots as a QE sometimes, to be perfectly honest. For that reason I took upon myself, with encouragement to take the role of testing the integration with of Openstack and Ceph, mainly RBD, at the moment, but soon, with RADOSGW.

What will this blog will be for? 

Mostly, I will post manuals workarounds that I find useful, questions that I have been wondering between myself and self and good practices that I think Openstack operators and users would need to follow.

If you find you're disagreeing with something that I wrote I'll be very happy if you'll leave a comment, send me an email, contact me on Google+, Twitter or IRC. Don't call my phone though, if someone call me out of the blue I will become paranoid and start putting aluminium foil on my head. One of my goals is to avoid ego fights and keep technology and its implementations, well... technical. If one solution is better than another in a user case one should use it.
